Engine of 2,0 l

Removal of the oil pump of the 2,0-liter engine carry out in the following order:

- establish a forward part of the car on a trestle to get access to the oil pallet and the oil pump;

- remove the oil pallet (see подразд. 4.1);

- unscrew bolts of fastening of the case of the oil pump;

- take out the pump down, the gear wheel of a shaft of the pump should leave gearing with a gear wheel of an intermediate shaft after that pull out it completely;

- remove the ignition distributor (as it will be all the same necessary for removing at pump installation).

Installation of the oil pump is carried out as it should be, the return to removal, with observance of the following recommendations:

- at installation of the oil pump on a case laying is not put;

- bolts of fastening of the pump tighten the moment of 20 N · m;

- before installation of the distributor of ignition, establish a landing neck of a power shaft of the oil pump so that the pin was located parallel to a longitudinal axis of a cranked shaft (fig. 167) ;

- establish the distributor of ignition and tighten bolts of fastening the moment of 20 N · m (see chapter 8.3.2).

VR6 engine

Removal of the oil pump of the VR6 engine carry out in the following order:

- establish a forward part of the car on support to get access to the oil pallet and the oil pump;

- unscrew bolts (fig. 168) of fastening of the case of the oil pump and a flange of a maslopriyemnik from an engine case;

- take out the pump down, the gear wheel of a shaft of the pump should leave gearing with a gear wheel of an intermediate shaft after that pull out it completely;

- if it is required to remove a leading gear wheel 5 (see fig. 165 ), unscrew bolts of 2 fastenings and uncover 3. The cover has an O-shaped sealing ring 4. Pull out a gear wheel by means of nippers.

Installation of the oil pump is carried out as it should be, the return to removal, with observance of the following recommendations:

- at installation of the oil pump on a case laying is not put, however it is necessary to put hermetic AMV188 001 02 on a flange of a maslopriyemnik;

- bolts of fastening of the oil pump tighten the moment of 25 N · m, and bolts of a maslopriyemnik — 10 N · m;

- if the leading gear wheel was removed, insert it into an opening on the top party so that it came to gearing with a gear wheel on intermediate to a shaft;

- before installation well grease with engine oil a cover and an O-shaped sealing ring;

- insert a power shaft, establish on a cover an O-shaped sealing ring (fig. 169) ;

- tighten bolts of fastening of a cover the moment of 10 N · m;

- establish the oil pallet and tighten an opening stopper for oil plum the moment of 30 N · m.
