If you remove the wheel bearing, it will collapse. Therefore it is impossible выпрессовывать the wheel bearing for check of its condition.

To remove the case of the bearing of a wheel, see item 13.1. After removal of the case of the bearing turn on or the bolts fastening a spherical support, or disconnect it. Remove an amortizatorny rack from a rotary fist;

- after removal of the case of the bearing of a wheel make adjustment of corners of installation of forward wheels.

Replacement procedure of the bearing of a wheel:

- remove a disk of the brake mechanism (bolt) and a reflector of a rotary fist (3 bolts);

- put a rotary fist with a wheel nave the forward party down on a press and squeeze out a wheel nave by means of a press opravka via the wheel bearing. The way of installation of an opravka is shown in drawing 289 . The effort can be applied only to a reverse side of a nave of a wheel;

- carefully clear inside of an opening of the bearing and take a lock ring of the bearing of a wheel (nippers for removal of lock rings);

- in position of a rotary fist on the press (see fig. 289 ) squeeze out the wheel bearing outside. Use for this purpose an opravka which has the size corresponding to an external ring of the bearing of a wheel;

- squeeze out an internal ring of the bearing of a wheel by means of a dvukhzakhvatny stripper (fig. 290) ;

- carefully clear a rotary fist. A reception opening of a rotary fist cover with graphitic Molykote greasing.

Assembly order:

- put the case of the bearing of a wheel on a press (see fig. 289 ), впрессуйте the bearing and establish a lock ring;

- put a nave on a press and впрессуйте the case of the bearing of a wheel with the bearing established in it in a nave. Use for this purpose the pipe piece which diameter corresponds to internal diameter of the bearing, that напрессовать the case of the bearing of a wheel and the wheel bearing against the stop on a wheel nave;

- other works carry out in return sequence concerning removal process.
