The main brake cylinder is located in a motor compartment of the engine and fastens nuts to the vacuum amplifier.
Removal of the main brake cylinder carry out in the following order:
- before the beginning of work press 5 — 6 times a brake pedal at the idle engine to create in vacuum and atmospheric chambers of the vacuum amplifier the identical pressure close to atmospheric (remove a vacuum razryazheniye);
- disconnect a vacuum hose from the vacuum amplifier;

- by means of a siphon pear pump out brake liquid from a tank 3 (fig. 327) after the sieve will be taken out;

Prevention
Never pump out brake liquid a mouth through a hose — brake liquid is poisonous.

- disconnect a block with wires from plugs of the sensor of emergency level of brake liquid;
- disconnect a hose of the main cylinder of coupling;
- if necessary remove from the main brake cylinder a tank, having shaken it forward-back. Be attentive — residual brake liquid can flow out outside. Put a rag;
- mark and disconnect pipelines from the main cylinder and carefully unbend them aside;
- close openings at pipelines and at the main cylinder to prevent leakage of liquid and hit in them raise dust, dirt;
- remove the cylinder, having unscrewed nuts of its fastening to the vacuum amplifier;
- remove a rubber sealing ring 7 (see fig. 327 ).
Installation - the main brake cylinder carry out as it should be, the return to removal, taking into account the following:
- a rubber sealing ring 7, always replace with the new;
- nuts of the 5th fastening of the main brake cylinder to the vacuum amplifier 9 tighten the moment of 25 N · m;
- cap nuts of pipelines of a brake drive tighten the moment of 13 N · m;
- the bar of a pusher of the vacuum amplifier is not regulated;
- grease with brake liquid connecting plugs 4 and press into them a tank;
- after installation of the main brake cylinder restore liquid level in a tank and pump over hydraulic actuator system.
