For removal of an intermediate shaft it is necessary to dismantle the engine from the car. The intermediate shaft is located in a forward part of the engine. To have possibility to remove an intermediate shaft, it is necessary to dismantle TNVD and all details of a drive of the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye; the head of the block of cylinders thus can remain on a place.
The flange of a sealing ring has a returnable opening of the lower part and should be established taking into account it. The flange defines an axial gap of a shaft and should be replaced, if the axial gap makes more than 0,25 mm (the contact surface is worn-out). The axial gap can be defined by means of the indicator. For this purpose it is necessary to establish the indicator and to shake a shaft backwards-forward. The sealing ring creates tightness of a flange from the engine. If the flange was turned off, it is necessary to replace the sealing ring located on inside of a flange.
