The pump of cooling liquid is located to the right of the engine and (fig. 467) is put in action by a poliklinovy belt from a cranked shaft of the engine . On fig. 468 the pump is shown separately.
Order of removal of the pump of cooling liquid:
- disconnect AB;
- establish a forward part of the car on support and remove protection of a case;
- merge cooling liquid from cooling system (see item 19.1.1).
- weaken bolts of a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid while the belt is put on;
- remove poliklinovy a belt;
- remove a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid;
- unscrew four bolts of a pulley of a cranked shaft and remove a pulley;
- remove the lower part of protection of a driving belt;
- weaken collars of hoses in places of their accession to the pump, and disconnect hoses;
– unscrew bolts of fastening of the pump and remove the pump from the block of cylinders. Remove a sealing ring and check its condition. One more sealing ring costs between an inlet pipe of the pump and the case of the pump of cooling liquid.
Installation of the pump occurs in return sequence. The moment of an inhaling of bolts of the pump and a pulley — 20 N · m.
Establish poliklinovy a belt and adjust its tension as it is described in item 19.3.3.
Fill in cooling liquid in cooling system (see item 19.1.1).
