Removal of a gear belt is carried out in the following order:
- weaken poliklinovy a belt, having screwed in its tension adaptation a bolt and remove poliklinovy a belt (see подразд. 3.8);
- prop up the engine, having substituted under it an automobile jack, turn out four bolts of fastening of a support of an engine mount;

- unscrew bolts of fastening and remove the top part of a protective cover 4 (see fig. 106 ) a gear belt;
- mark the provision of a pulley 15 cranked shaft or a quencher of fluctuations in relation to a cogwheel of a cranked shaft;
- include the fifth transfer, establish the car on the parking brake and turn out bolts of fastening of both pulleys, or respectively a quencher of fluctuations. The last can be established only in one situation in order that openings were combined;
- unscrew bolts of fastening and remove the lower part 8 protective covers of a gear belt;

- weaken a nut of fastening of an axis of a tension roller (fig. 149) and turn it in such situation at which the gear belt will be most weakened;
- mark the direction of movement of a gear belt on its outer side (marker) and remove a belt from pulleys.

Prevention
After removal of a gear belt it is not allowed to turn a camshaft.
