Repair Sharan/Sharan Volkswagen>> System of injection of fuel of the VR6 engine>> Injection system>> Regulator of pressure of supply of fuel
The regulator of pressure of supply of fuel 19
(fig. 201)
represents membrane perepuskny the valve and is established on the end of the fuel distributive highway 6. The regulator diaphragm is affected on the one hand by pressure of fuel, and on the other hand pressure of a spring of a regulator and pressure (or a razryazheniye) in an inlet pipe. Function of a regulator consists in maintenance of continuous pressure difference on a nozzle 10.
The regulator of pressure of fuel is connected through a hose with the case of a butterfly valve and reacts to pressure decrease in an inlet pipe. At pressure reduction in an inlet pipe (it is less butterfly valve opening) the regulator reduces pressure of supply of fuel. Thus the valve of a regulator opens, and superfluous fuel on the drain highway merges back in a fuel tank. At increase in frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft pressure in an inlet pipe increases and the regulator increases pressure of supply of fuel.
