The bolts, fixing brake supports, are wrapped by rather high moment of an inhaling: forward supports — 200 N · m, back — 110 N · m. Bolts of fastening of brake supports can be used further, carefully them having cleared. In case of replacement of bolts of fastening use only firm bolts from Volkswagen.
Removal of a brake support carry out in the following order:
- weaken bolts of fastening of forward wheels, put a forward part of the car on a support and remove wheels;
- remove brake shoes and tie up to a body a piece of a wire a brake support;
- if it is necessary, disconnect a brake hose from the cylinder case;
- turn out the top and bottom bolts of fastening of a brake support to a rotary fist.
Installation of a brake support carry out as it should be, the return to removal, thus:
- bolts of fastening of a brake support to a rotary fist tighten the moment of 200 N · m;
- watch that the brake hose was not overwound or will bend and did not concern car details;
- after installation of a brake support restore level in a tank and pump over hydraulic actuator system.
