Repair Sharan/Sharan Volkswagen>> Hydraulic booster of a steering>> Replacement of cross-section steering drafts>> Replacement of all cross-section steering draft For removal of cross-section steering draft remove the ball hinge of a gear lath. The special key (No. 1332/8) or rather big wrench is for this purpose used.
Measure length of all cross-section steering draft, including a head of cross-section steering draft (a distance on
fig. 268
). The nominal size makes 378,5±1,0 mm;
- release a cover of the hinge and shift it back on cross-section steering draft;
- clamp the steering mechanism in a vice
(fig. 269)
and establish the key represented there on the spherical hinge of cross-section steering draft. Remove cross-section steering draft;
- establish new cross-section steering draft, maintaining the distance measured earlier, and again twist it in a gear lath the moment of an inhaling of 70 N · m. Do not put the liquid fixing carving connection, on a carving of cross-section steering draft;
- establish a hinge cover on the case of a gear lath.
- adjust a descent disorder of forward wheels.
