The system of cooling serves for compulsory branch from cylinders of the engine of heat and transfer to its air. System of cooling of engines (VR6 and 2,0 l) liquid, the closed type, with compulsory circulation, with a broad tank.

Prevention
On the hot engine the system of cooling is under pressure. Never at once open a cover of a broad tank, previously without having lowered pressure a gradual otvorachivaniye of a cover of a broad tank.

Circulation of cooling liquid in system occurs by means of the pump of centrifugal type.
The electric fan (or fans at the VR6 engine) has the plastic krylchatka established on a shaft of the electric motor. Inclusion and switching off of the fan is carried out from the on-off temperature switch located on the left side of a radiator. On the first position the temperature switch turns on the fan at temperature of cooling liquid between 92 and 97 ° With, and on the second position — at temperature between 99 and 105 ° C. If the temperature of cooling liquid goes down, turning on of the temperature switch passes in the opposite direction. At temperature of cooling liquid between 91 and 98 ° the C temperature switch working in the second position, switches off the fan of system of cooling, and on the first position the fan is switched off at temperature between 84 and 91 ° C. On both engines the temperature of switching of the temperature switch is equal.
The broad tank is included too into system of cooling of the engine.

In system of cooling of the VR6 engine on a radiator 3 (fig. 181) two fans are established: right 10 and left 17, with a casing 4 corresponding forms. Both fans have a separate electric chain. On the VR6 engine near a radiator the secondary pump — the air pump of a high pressure 14 is located.
