Order of removal of a forward suspension bracket
(fig. 279)
:
- while the car costs on soil, weaken nuts of fastening of a wheel and a bolt of fastening of a shaft of a drive of a wheel (if the amortizatorny rack has to be disassembled). Weaken a bolt of a shaft of a drive (the full weight of the car should not fall on the wheel bearing). Remove locks of nuts of fastening of a wheel if they were put on;
- remove protection of the engine;
- remove in a motor compartment an air line 1

and a wall 2 compartments of AB;
- remove a broad tank of system of cooling;
- fix an amortizatorny rack
(fig. 281)
in motionless situation, having inserted into a piston rod a shestigrannik (7 mm) and remove it;
- raise the car and establish it on support;
- remove fastening of a brake hose from an amortizatorny rack;
- remove the sensor of frequency of rotation of ABS system;
- remove a bracket of the brake mechanism and a wire adhere it on a place, without removing a brake hose;
- remove a nut of the hinge of cross-section steering draft and a stripper squeeze out of it a finger of a spherical support. Protect a spherical support from dirt;
- take a bolt of fastening of a shaft of a drive from a wheel nave;
- remove draft of the stabilizer of cross-section stability from fastening on an amortizatorny rack
(fig. 282)
. Do not damage a rubber head of connecting draft at performance of this operation. Replace a nut.
Further stages of works are carried out for choice.
Removal of an amortizatorny rack:
- remove a bolt in the lower part of an amortizatorny rack
(fig. 283)
;
- wring out the cross-section lever down and take an amortizatorny rack;
- replace a bolt.
Removal of an amortizatorny rack with a rotary fist:
- unscrew in the lower part of a rotary fist two bolts of fastening of the cross-section lever

and wring out it down. Remove a spherical support of a forward suspension bracket. For this purpose remove a nut in the lower part of the cross-section lever. Establish a stripper

remove a spherical support from the cross-section lever;
- disconnect draft (see
fig. 282
) and take an amortizatorny rack
(fig. 286)
.
Installation is carried out in return sequence concerning removal process.
Installation of an amortizatorny rack:
- establish an amortizatorny rack in the top fastening and put on the limiter. Establish new самоконтрящуюся a nut, but do not tighten it;
- insert the lower part of an amortization rack into the top part of a rotary fist so that dredging on a pipe of an amortizatorny rack coincided with an opening on a rotary fist. Raise from below the cross-section lever. Insert a new bolt and tighten it the moment of 110 N · m;
- fix a rod of the piston of an amortizatorny rack in motionless situation (see
fig. 281
) and tighten the top nut of fastening of a rack the moment of 60 N · m;
- establish connecting draft of the stabilizer of cross-section stability. Tighten a nut (use a new nut) the moment of 100 N · m. The same moment tighten a nut on the stabilizer of cross-section stability;
- establish the hinge of cross-section steering draft, tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut (use a new nut) the moment of 30 N · m also tighten it for 90 °;
- establish a bracket of the brake mechanism and tighten bolts of fastening the moment of an inhaling of 200 N · m;
- lower the car on soil and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the moment of 140 N · m;
Installation of an amortizatorny rack with a rotary fist:
- establish an amortizatorny rack in an opening in a car body, establish a rubber support and screw a nut of fastening of an amortization rack, but do not tighten it;
- establish a rotary fist (see
fig. 286
) on a shaft of a drive of a wheel and establish a new bolt with a washer. Tighten a bolt the moment of 50 N · m before lower the car on wheels. If the bolt is not tightened, it will lead to damage of the bearing of a wheel;
- fix connecting draft on an amortizatorny rack. Tighten a new nut the moment of 100 N · m;
- establish the bottom spherical support on a rotary fist. How the amortizatorny rack was removed, or tighten a nut of a spherical support the moment of 30 N · m, and then turn it for 90 ° (always establish a new nut), or tighten both bolts on a spherical support the moment of 55 N · m;
- establish the hinge of cross-section steering draft on a rotary fist. Tighten new самоконтрящуюся a nut the moment of 30 N · m, and then turn it for 90 °;
- establish a bracket of the brake mechanism (see earlier);
- establish a wheel and lower the car on wheels;
- tighten a bolt of a shaft of a drive the moment of 150 N · m, and then tighten it for 90 °;
- tighten the top fastening of an amortizatorny rack (see earlier);
- tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the moment of 140 N · m.
