For removal of an intermediate shaft it is necessary to dismantle the engine from the car. To remove an intermediate shaft, it is necessary to remove a drive 12 (see fig. 69 ) the oil pump as the pump is put in action by intermediate shaft.

After removal of parts of a drive of the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye (see fig. 91 ) an intermediate shaft becomes easily available, it is possible to unscrew bolts of its fastening and a shaft to take.
Installation of the oil pump is carried out in sequence, return dismantling. Thus it is necessary to track, that on a directing ring of a shaft there was an adjusting label. The ring should be fastened so that the adjusting label was in the top part, differently it will not be possible to adjust a drive of the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye properly.
