The working brake system of forward wheels, in process of grinding of overlays of brake shoes, does not need adjustment as at the expense of operation of the adjusting mechanism pistons of brake cylinders provide demanded gaps between slips and brake disks.
However being self-unscrewed (because of operation of the adjusting mechanism) pistons of brake cylinders of back wheels before installation of new brake shoes again screw in by means of the special tool (see item 15.3.2).
Action of brakes check on special installations or on an equal and dry site of the road. For this purpose the car disperse till speed of 30 — 40 km/h and then it strongly brake, checking a simultaneity of action of brakes of all wheels.
Check, whether brake disks heat up at car movement. At serviceable operation of the adjusting mechanism of heating should not be.
