According to instructions the oil filter should be changed at each replacement of oil. As the oil filter is located in the main stream of proceeding oil, i.e. through it all oil necessary for greasing proceeds, it cannot be corked with any deposits. If it after all occurs, in this case bypass the valve provides intake of oil in greasing places, in this case, however, oil arrives in not filtered look.

To replace the oil filter follows according to the recommendations provided in the operation manual on the car. For removal of the filter use or a stripper of the oil filter (fig. 456) , or punch a screw-driver the filter case sideways and, operating with a screw-driver as the lever, unscrew the filter.

If from the engine the filter basis acts in film, at assembly it is necessary to establish new laying. Tighten a bolt of the basis of the filter the moment of 25 N · m. Do not put on laying some any greasing. The way of fastening of the oil filter is shown on fig. 457 .

Recommendations about installation of the filter are written on a sticker on the filter case.

Establish on the filter a new sealing ring which should be easily greased on perimeter. Wind the new filter a hand, without using any tool for its inhaling.

Note If at a filter inhaling you use a special key, at the following replacement of oil it can turn out so that you with great difficulty will manage to unscrew the old filter.

Check oil level, and if necessary add oil in the engine.

After the car will pass some kilometers, surely check, whether oil through a filter junction with a filter socle proceeds.
