The system of cooling works under pressure. The cover of a radiator has the built-in spring which is picked up in such a manner that laying of a cover closes a contour of system of cooling and opens it if pressure in system of cooling rises to 1,4 — 1,8 bar [140 — 180 kPas]. Pressure in system of cooling raises because of expansion of cooling liquid that leads to boiling temperature increase.
For check of a cover of a radiator the radiatorny pump is used. The order of work is similar described for the petrol engine. By means of the radiatorny pump it is possible to check cooling system on existence of places of leaks in it cooling liquid.
