Repair Sharan/Sharan Volkswagen>> Power supply system of the diesel engine and turbokompressor>> Fuel filter
The fuel filter it is necessary to change each 30 000 km, and through each 15 000 km or 12 months it should be released from the condensate which has accumulated in it. The filter is located in a motor compartment of the engine
(fig. 471)
. On
fig. 472
it is shown the filter from above where you can see the places of connections located on it. To get access to a drain stopper it is necessary to raise a forward part of the car.
For plum of condensate unscrew a carving stopper of an opening for air removal (it is shown by an arrow on
fig. 471
) which settles down in the lower part of the filter, and merge fuel together with water (about 100 cm) until fuel, without water will start to follow only. After that again establish a stopper.
In the top part of the filter the regulating valve which 5
(fig. 473) fastens a spring collar is located
. At replacement of the filter remove a spring collar and take out regulating valve together with the pipelines placed on it in the direction up. The filter is fixed by A collar (see
fig. 471
). If connections on the regulating valve were removed, it is necessary to establish them again according to
fig. 472
.
After you several times will increase engine turns, fuel in a transparent fuel hose idling should go without visible vials of air.
