For removal of an intermediate shaft 8 (fig. 158) it is necessary to remove the engine from the car.
To remove an intermediate shaft, it is necessary to remove a drive of the oil pump as the pump is put in action by intermediate shaft. After removal of the distributor of ignition and parts of a drive of the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye the intermediate shaft becomes available, it is possible to unscrew bolts of its fastening and a shaft to take.
The flange of a sealing ring has a returnable opening and should be established taking into account it. The flange defines an axial gap of a shaft and should be replaced, if the axial gap makes more than 0,25 mm. The O-shaped sealing ring creates tightness of a flange from the block of cylinders.
If the holder of an epiploon was turned off, it is necessary to replace an epiploon with the new. Installation of an epiploon of an intermediate shaft is carried out similar to installation of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft. Bolts of fastening of the holder of an epiploon at assembly it is necessary to tighten the moment of 25 N · m.
