Dismantling and assembly of the brake mechanism can be carried out independently only if there is a necessary experience with details of hydraulic brake system and provided that there is available a set for repair of the brake mechanism.
Dismantling of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel carry out in the following order:

- clamp the cylinder 6 (fig. 317) in a vice;
- by means of a screw-driver remove a dustproof ring 11 from the piston;

- establish under the piston a wooden slip (fig. 318) not to damage the piston about a support surface at its pushing out;
- accurately forcing a stream of the compressed air through an inlet opening for liquid (see fig. 318 , it is shown by an arrow), вытолкните the piston from the cylinder;

- carefully screw-driver (fig. 319) take a sealing ring 9 (see fig. 317 ) from the brake cylinder. Do not damage thus a cylinder opening;
- carefully clear all details and if the cylinder and the piston are in a good condition, use a repair kit at assembly. The sealing ring 9 (see fig. 317 ) the cylinder is recommended and a dustproof ring 11 to replace new. Surely track, that the repair kit corresponded to year of release.
Assembly of the brake mechanism of a forward wheel carry out as it should be, the return to dismantling, thus:
- establish a new sealing ring 9, previously having greased it with brake liquid, and on a surface of the piston put graphite greasing or Ditor greasing;
- put on a dustproof ring the 11th external working edge the piston;

- slowly pressing the piston into the cylinder, by means of a screw-driver, carefully insert an internal working edge of a dustproof ring into a flute cylinder (fig. 320) (the cylinder should be thus clamped in a vice);

- by means of a clamp slowly press the piston into the brake cylinder (fig. 321) . Thus the external working edge of a dustproof ring will enter into a piston flute as soon as it will appear opposite to it;
- remove air from the brake cylinder. For what put on the union for pumping a hose, and its end put on on the filled brake liquid a syringe. Fill the cylinder with brake liquid until it will not start to leave through connection of a brake hose;
- after assembly and installation of the brake mechanism restore liquid level in a tank and pump over hydraulic actuator system.
