The generator is the main source of a current in system of power supply of the Sharan car. At the working engine it feeds with an electricity all electrounits and provides AB charging. For a drive of the generator the belt serves poliklinovy. The generator develops the alternating three-phase current, which rectifier will transform in constant (the scheme of the rectifier is executed on semi-conductor diodes). Besides maintenance of constant tension and protection of the generator against overloads are provided by a tension regulator.
