It is recommended to replace a faulty motor-reducer new. From repair work on a motor-reducer replacement of a gear wheel of a reducer, cleaning of a collector and adjustment of the trailer switch is allowed only. To reach fastening of system of drafts and levers of a screen wiper it is required to remove some details.
Removal of a motor-reducer carry out in the following order:
- include ignition, include screen wipers and bring brushes into extreme bottom situation (in which they usually are if the screen wiper does not work). After that switch off ignition;
- remove both levers of a brush of a screen wiper;

- unscrew plastic bolts fastening (fig. 347), carefully raise up both parts of a lattice and remove a lattice;

- unscrew three bolts (fig. 348) of fastening of a casing of supply of air and remove a casing in the direction forward;
- after removal of a casing of supply of air there was an access to a motor-reducer trapeze. Disconnect from a motor-reducer a shtekerny block;
- by means of a screw-driver remove the right lever;
- unscrew bolts by means of 13 mm of a head and remove them. Unscrew by means of a key «on 32 mm» a big nut and completely remove system of levers of a screen wiper together with a motor-reducer;
- remove from system of levers a screen wiper motor-reducer:
- remove at first from spherical heads the left lever, and then the average lever;

- block the krivoshipny lever, having put on one of bolts a head and having put the lever on lengthening. Unscrew a nut 2 (fig. 349) ;
- remove the krivoshipny lever 1, having shaken it here and there;
- unscrew fastening of a motor-reducer and remove it.
Installation of a motor-reducer carry out as it should be, the return to removal, carrying out the following recommendations:
- tighten a nut of the krivoshipny lever the moment of 26 N · m, and nuts of a casing of supply of air the moment of 6 N · m;
- put on spherical heads a small amount of greasing.
