The new car and respectively the engine will have no problems with an otvorachivaniye of screws, nuts, bolts etc. If the car not so new, there are difficulties with weakening of carving connections, especially if turned-on connections were exposed to long influence of street dirt. For the solution of these problems the following recommendations are offered.
When weakening nuts on bolts with a coming-out carving always clear an acting part of a carving a wire brush to remove from it dirt or a rust. It will allow to unscrew a nut with smaller efforts. Then process a junction means of the WD-40 type easily getting and corroding a rust.
If it is necessary to unscrew the bolt screwed in the welded nut (more often such connections are used on a body), whenever possible process a junction means corroding a rust. At such connections it is very easy to break a head of a bolt or to damage a carving of the welded nut.
Sometimes happens extremely difficult to unscrew screws with a usual or krestovy shliyets. The screw-driver with a krestovy head very easily slips out a shliyets of the screw and damages it thus. To avoid it, it is possible to put a screw-driver to a screw head and several times shortly to strike with a hammer on the screw-driver handle. In most cases the screw after that easily gets out.
In modern automotive industry screws with the special heads similar to heads of screws with a krestovy shliyets are even more often used, but are not them. Such heads of screws are called as "Torx", and these screws turn away special nozzles which can be bought in a set.
Screws with an internal six-sided head or screws with a polygonal head (the most bigger of having 12 corners) also can cause difficulties at an otvorachivaniye. First of all it is necessary to clear an opening of a six-sided head (for example, a small screw-driver) to have possibility to insert a face six-sided key or a many-sided key. Besides, it is possible to apply the tool to splitting of nuts if there is enough space near a nut for its use. The way of use of the tool is shown on fig. 14 . The bolt of the tool is tightened until the nut will not break up. Advantage at such way is that the bolt carving is not damaged.
Sometimes it happens that at a bolt the head breaks. In order that from an opening to take the carving rest in the center of "bolt" drill an opening and apply so-called «a corkscrew with the left carving». It is twisted as a bolt in the drilled opening. By means of a tightening the adaptation runs into a bolt and can take it thus. It was not possible if to take, it is necessary — to drill the only way the bolt rest approximately equal (diameter of a drill should be slightly less than diameter of a bolt) on diameter a drill.
Raspornye bolts get out by means of two mutually zakontrenny nuts. When twisting it is necessary to establish a key on an internal nut, at a twisting it is necessary to establish a key on an external nut.
If the carving cut in aluminum details at an inhaling of bolts is damaged, it is necessary to use carving nozzles under the name "Heli-Coil". They can be twisted in an old opening with the damaged carving.
