It is necessary to tell some words about hydraulic pushers as maloperation with them can damage to the engine. Sometimes you after all can hear noise from area of a klapanny cover which, however, do not mean that there is any malfunction. Noise can appear, for example, at the first start of the engine after long idle time that led to oil outflow from hydraulic pushers and to formation of a gap in the valve a drive. After the lapse of short time noise again will disappear. If pushers continue to rustle after the lapse of certain time, it is necessary to check them a condition according to the instructions provided below.
At removal of pushers it is necessary to observe the following instructions:

- right after removal mark pushers. It is best of all to mark them with the help рисок, put on inside. For this purpose put on the first pusher one line, on the second pusher two lines etc. On fig. 412 it is shown, how pushers after drawing of labels on them should look;
- after removal of hydraulic pushers do not establish them a contact surface down;
- replace a pusher completely as it is not subject to adjustment or repair.
If noise of valves seems to you too loud, pushers can be checked as follows:
- start the engine and let's to it work, until the fan will turn on;
- increase frequency of rotation of the engine to 2500 mines-1 and let's to it work within about 2 minutes;
- if pushers still rustle, it is possible to define a faulty pusher, having uncovered heads of the block of cylinders, according to the description provided at dismantling of the engine, and rotating a camshaft so that the camshaft cam for a checked pusher looked up;

- press a pusher by means of a piece of plastic or a tree down (fig. 413) . If the gap makes more than 0,1 mm before the valve will open, it is necessary to replace this pusher.

After installation of a new pusher, it is impossible to start the engine after assembly within about 30 minutes, otherwise the engine can receive serious damages.
